Travel with Mercury

Mercury is the patron of travellers, so in my Department he oversees the travel section. For now, it covers seven countries:

• Russia (Boreas’ Winds) — the material here is sparse because I currently live in…
• Türkiye (Hestia’s Hearth) — here the collection is already quite extensive, divided by geographical zones (though there are also posts about Türkiye in general):
  • Hellespontus’ Gates — Marmara Region (Istanbul, Bursa, Thrace);
  • Pontus’ Emerald — Black Sea Region (Trabzon);
  • Enki’s Cradle — Southeastern Anatolia, Upper Mesopotamia (Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa);
  • Apollo’s Lyre — Aegean Region (Ephesus);
  • Hayk’s Anvil — Eastern Anatolia (Van, Kars, Erzurum);
• Belarus (Vseslav’s Forests) — only two posts so far, but a good start is half the battle.
• Kazakhstan (Tengri’s Steppes),
• Serbia (Istrus’ Banks),
• Tunisia (Dido’s Land), where we went on vacation,
• Ethiopia (Cepheus’ Kingdom), whose capital we explored for the New Year 2026, and
• a little bit (for now?) about Armenia (Aramazd’s Gardens).
